My name is ashley and i’m a 23yo trans woman who experiences depression and ADD (among other things)

This week my girlfriend of over 3 years, whom I’d been living with for over 18 months, had to leave the country due to her visa expiring. Because neither of us felt mentally capable of returning to a long-term relationship, we also decided to break up. On top of the emotional toll this is taking on me, I am also no longer able to afford rent by myself. I am unemployed, and unable to look for work or new places to live because of the COVID lockdown.

hi everyone! my partner natalie made this for me because i’m in a super bad spot right now… i have no support (financial or otherwise) from my family, which makes a $2.7k repair extra difficult to bounce back from. anyone who knows me, knows that i’ve paid my own way through college and paid for everything for my car, working multiple jobs while going to school full time to do so. i receive absolutely nothing from my parents. since transferring to the Bay Area, i haven’t found work yet, but have been very frugal to make ends meet in an area with such a high cost of living. unfortunately, i’m basically forced to use all my semester’s financial aid allowance for living expenses (food, transportation, books, personal) to replace the stolen part /: i know everyone is going through it right now, but i would greatly appreciate any help

time to say It… anti mexican racism is a specific problem in america that needs to be talked about NOW. there is a culture of fear and hatred very specifically focused on the fact that mexicans dare exist outside of mexico that even extends past white majority areas and into other communities of color. its going to lead to something that can never be undone if other people don’t start actively and enthusiastically giving mexican people their support and solidarity. i’m begging you, go out of your way today to research what you can do to help struggling mexican people in your community (which i guarantee there are)

I hate to make this post but my 14 year old dog is dying and every animal hospital nearby is closed for the holiday, we got in touch with an emergency care place but since its after hours its $180 just for them to open the doors for us. He’s been in this condition for hours and I refuse to let him suffer for another 13 hours til his vet opens.

I’m coming to terms with the fact that this is probably my last night ever with my dog but I’m just NOT prepared for this expense, plus whatever the costs of euthanization and cremation are gonna be. also I know this is so sappy of me but he’s my first pet ever and literally my best friend, I want to get him cremated and some kind of (inexpensive) memorial urn instead of just disposing of him. If any of you can spare some money it would mean the world to me. I dont want to be put in a position where I cant even afford my dog’s remains. i am sharing this on behalf of my friend sol, who has suffered extensive abuse and is currently in very dire circumstances. 

sol has suffered injuries to her body, her mind, her career, her finances—every area of her life has been deeply affected by the prolonged mistreatment she endured. she was forced into intimate contact with white supremacists, and her queer identity was used to sexually manipulate her. though she is no longer in this abusive relationship, the impact of that abuse persists. 

her ability to heal from her abuse has been hindered greatly by her lack of financial resources. after causing her to undergo frequent hospitalization, her abuser took control of her accounts and drained her finances, leaving her with a mountain of debt from his fraud and the medical expenses. on top of that, she is the sole financial provider for her family and was recently laid off. 

financial support is critical to the survival, safety, and recovery of those who have experienced abuse. as the youcaring link states, just one sexual assault can cost upwards of $122,461 per victim. this is an unimaginable cost for most individuals to shoulder alone, and it only deepens as the abuse increases in type and duration. 

i am asking you to PLEASE help sol survive in any way you can, even if your contribution is small. little donations can go a long way when added up, and every reblog spreads this link to a new person and increases the amount of visibility for our cause. sol deserves to reclaim everything that was taken from her, and your support will help her on that path.
